Pilgrims of Love: A Body–Scripture Encounter through Relational Bibliodrama
Theme/text & short explanation:
TEXT: Luke 24:13–35 The Road to Emmaus
This workshop introduces an updated method of Relational and Embodied Bibliodrama, integrating:
Body-centered Bibliodrama (based on Diego Díaz’s work on corporeal exegesis)
Latin-American relational psychodrama
Pastoral embodiment and symbolic creativity
A new modality called “Embodied Mandala Bibliodrama”, inspired by communal symbolic circles (like the floral mandala cloth shown in your image)
Participants will explore the Emmaus story as Pilgrims of Love, engaging Scripture through movement,
symbolic objects, shared mandala-building, and psychodramatic resonance. The workshop guides
participants from confusion to recognition, joining a communal journey of presence and transformation.

Jesus Anointed at Bethany
Theme/text & short explanation:
TEXT: John 12:1-8
Jesus is on his way to Jerusalem to give his life for us. On his journey, one day before his triumphal entry
into Jerusalem, he stops in Bethany to have dinner with his friends, including Martha, Mary, and Lazarus.
During the supper, Mary anoints Jesus’ feet with expensive perfume.
In our workshop, we will deal with this important stop on Jesus’ last journey and the people who were
accompanied Jesus, so that we can reflect on our own journey toward God and the people who
accompany us.

Title of workshop:
Was macht mich liebens-wert? What makes me lovable?
Theme/text & short explanation:
TEXT: Song of Songs 1:1-6
Topic: A Jewish-Christian workshop on Song of Songs 1:1-6. The ‘Song of Songs’ is called ‘das Hohelied der
Liebe’ (the high song of love) in German. LOVE is explored in many dimensions and always in a very sensual
way: the kiss, the caresses, the name, the anointing oils… However, the first verses also ask what it is that
makes the dark-skinned beloved truly lovable.
We follow the traditions of Jewish Midrash and Christian interpretations, as presented by Origen in the 3rd century or as expressed today in thousands of Black Madonnas worldwide. The transfer of erotic love to the relationship between man and God will also be explored. And as always, our various senses will be
involved in the bibliodrama process.
